Curriculum
课程
We follow the English National Curriculum, and offer the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) recognising our students’ diverse cultural and geographical experience. We offer the Cambridge Examinations (IGCSE) in Secondary Years 10 and 11, and IB Academy students in Years 12 and 13 study for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, both highly regarded systems of learning and examination.

The English National Curriculum:

We follow the academically rigorous and respected English National Curriculum enhanced with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). This syllabus begins with the Early Years Foundation Stage and continues right up to the IGCSE years of study and examinations. For the final two years of school we offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Early Years (12 months to 5 years old)

Students from the age of 12 months to 5 years, from Pre-Nursery through Nursery to Reception, form the Early Years. Classes are largely communal and children share activities across a range of free-flowing learning areas.

Our Primary teaching team is dedicated to growing and nurturing young learners and students engage in fun and insightful lessons to develop fundamental skills in literary and numeracy, with a focus on emotional and social development.

Secondary (11 - 16 years old)

Secondary comprises Years 7 to 11 and students' learning is based on the English National Curriculum with a strong international influence. Years 10 and 11 are the academically focused International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) years, preparing students for the International Baccalaureate.

The IGCSE is an academically rigorous two-year programme that provides students not only with recognised qualifications for university admissions, but also an excellent grounding for students' later study towards the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Your child can excel in an English language environment after completing our fast track EAL integration programme. Students for whom English is a second or even third language will find an open and supportive team of professionals and peers to get them up to speed in no time.
